King PTA is ready to support the King CLC students who will be taking the OSTs this week!

There are 8 classrooms at King that will be testing this week. Thanks to the generosity of King families, friends and neighbors, the PTA is able to provide our students with treats throughout the week to help them stay focused and to remind them that we're cheering them on

🗓️ Reminders for this week:
✅ Tuesday March 24th at 6:30 is our PTA meeting. We will be honoring the February and March King’s Court nominees.
✅ Wednesday March 25th from 4:00-6:00 is Math Night. There will be fun math activities and dinner is included!

🤩 📚 🤫 Shhhh…our team of decorators was busy getting the school ready with a surprise for Read Across America Week! Just wait until you see it Monday morning!! It’s going to be a lot of fun with reading and spirit days:
📚🐠✨ Monday: Rainbow Fish Day—wear rainbows and sparkles
📚🧸 Tuesday: Reading Buddy Day—bring a stuffed animal to read with
📚🦒Wednesday: Giraffes Can’t Dance Day—wear animal print
📚👗👕 Thursday: Book Character Day—dress as your favorite book character

Last night was the Student Success Celebration for Akron Public Schools. Lorenzo Donatelli, a fourth grader at King, was recognized for his outstanding Academic Excellence and Positive Peer Leadership. Miss. R and the Student Council were also recognized for all of the wonderful things they do for our school and our community!! Congratulations to Lorenzo, Student Council members and all APS students who were recognized! We are so proud of you! 👑🤩
