Phoenix Performing Arts would like to share an important organizational update.
After thoughtful consideration, Amber Coughlin will be stepping back from directing with Phoenix Performing Arts through the end of 2026. As the Founder of Phoenix Performing Arts, Amber has dedicated countless hours, passion, creativity, and heart to building the organization and creating opportunities for young performers throughout Northeast Ohio.
While she takes this time to focus on her family, professional growth, and new opportunities, Amber will continue to serve as a member of the Phoenix Performing Arts Board and remain connected to the organization she founded.
Phoenix Performing Arts remains committed to its mission of providing an inclusive, encouraging, and accessible community where young people can explore and grow through the performing arts. The organization will continue moving forward with exciting programming, productions, and opportunities for our students and community.
We are incredibly grateful for Amber's dedication to Phoenix and everything she has contributed to building the organization. Over the remainder of the season, Amber and the Board will have the opportunity to reflect on Phoenix's continued growth and evolving needs, as well as what involvement may look like in the future.
This is a new chapter for both Amber and Phoenix Performing Arts, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds.
