Happy Monday😊. Officer Keith Bennett is here to share bullying noticed within Rippleside Elementary School. Take this as a reminder that making fun of others is not fun or funny. If you wouldn’t like it said about you or one of your friends, please don’t allow it to be said or done to someone else. One person can be a force for good! Be the good you want to see in the world!!!

Guess what. This is fire prevention week! It is recommended to have a family emergency evacuation plan. Everyone in the family should know what the plan is and when to put it into action.

An important part of a plan is having GO BAGS ready. Not sure what a Go bag is🤷🏽‍♀️. Or unsure what would be recommended to keep in a Go bag. We are in luck, Aitkin County public health department already has a workshop planned! It is October 29th 6pm - 7:30pm at the Aitkin Public Library.

The Aitkin police department is helping us spread messages during National Bullying Prevention Month. Officer Joe Fuhrman is starting us off by sharing some of the basics about bullying.

As Joe states, “Don’t be a bystander.” It only takes one person to initiate a positive change. Be that one! Say something . . . to those picking on another, to a teacher, a para, Officer Joe, or a parent.
