IN-PERSON STUDENT REGISTRATION: All schools across Cheney Public Schools will be open for in-person registration from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 23! If you or someone you know needs to register a new student, stop by your neighborhood school during those hours on Thursday, July 23!

To complete the registration process, please bring the following:
- Proof of Birthdate
- Immunization Records
- Proof of Residence

Acceptable forms of Proof of Residency include:
- Utility Bill
- Cable TV Bill
- Garbage Bill
- Renter or Homeowner Insurance Statement
- Rental Agreement
- Escrow Papers
- Mortgage Statement
- Property Tax Form
- HOA Fee Statement

Following months of community engagement—including a districtwide survey, input from students and stakeholders, and recommendations from the New Elementary School Naming Team—the School Board of Directors unanimously approved Skyway Elementary as the name of our district's newest elementary school

Check out these summer breakfast and lunch options! ☀️🍎🥪

Be sure to check out the new option this year. Families can pick up breakfast and lunch for Friday through Sunday at the Airway Heights Rec Center! FREE SUMMER MEALS: We are excited to once again offer free meals this summer for all children ages 1-18 as part of the Summer Food Service Program, a Child Nutrition Program funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The program will begin June 29 and continue through July 30, 2025, Monday-Thursday, with both breakfast and lunch options available.

New this summer is a meal pick-up option, available on Thursdays at two locations across the district: Airway Heights Parks and Recreation and Snowdon Elementary. Thursday food pick-up will provide meals for families Friday through Sunday.

Field Day Fun! ☀️🎉

A huge thank you to Mrs. Zuniga, Mrs. Mac, and all of our amazing volunteers who helped make Field Day such a special day for our students. From games and laughter to teamwork and smiles, it was a fantastic day filled with fun and memories.

Hello Families!

A few quick announcements:
🎉 We have a Pajama Day this Friday, which will kick off a full Spirit Week the week of June 8–12!

🏃‍♀️ We are also looking for volunteers for Field Day. If you would like to volunteer, please make sure you have completed the required volunteer paperwork and have been approved by the district. As a reminder, volunteer paperwork must be submitted each year and for every school where you plan to volunteer. If you are unsure whether your volunteer status is current, please contact the school office and we would be happy to help.

🎒 Kindergarten registration is now open! Please help us spread the word to friends, family, and neighbors who have children turning 5 years old by August 31. Early registration helps us plan for staffing and supports a smooth start to the school year.

We are catching up on some SOAR Store Spirit Day purchases! We will have a few fun spirit days over the next two weeks before our final week-long Spirit Week, June 8th–12th. Stay tuned for the full announcement coming soon!
