Parents & Children of LDDC,
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closing of Little Ducklings Daycare Center. This was a personal choice for me & my family & had nothing to do with the parents, children, staff, DHS or the City of Ainsworth. My next adventure will be directing the Columbus Community Childcare Center in Columbus Junction. The last payments due will be through March 31st for Little Ducklings Daycare Center.

BUT – this does not mean there will no longer be childcare here; I would like to also introduce you to the newest Owner/Director Cassie Ward. She is opening Busy Bees Daycare Center here at this same location. She is very well qualified; understands the requirements to run a center, loves children & I know will do an amazing job here for you & your children. She will be sending out a letter to introduce herself & her plans for this center. Starting April 3rd all invoices will be coming from Busy Bees Daycare Center. If you have further questions, please let me or Cassie know so we can help you with the transition.

I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to care for & love your children. This has been one of the best experiences of my career & I can’t wait to see what the next adventure holds for me. Please keep in touch!!

Happy 1 Year Anniversary Little Ducklings Daycare Center!!! It is a pleasure & a blessing to serve all the families we have for the past year. Excited to see what the next year brings for us!

To the parents that have messaged me - I am aware of the situation & I am doing my best to make accommodations & message everyone in a timely manner. It saddens me that another center has closed, but know we are still here & doing our best every day for our children & parents.

Please be patient with me as I work with DHS & the state fire Marshall to make more room in our center to accommodate more children. I will be updating everyone soon!!
