This month's Why Aiken is brought to you by our chancellor, Dr. Daniel Heimmermann. He has just finished his first year as chancellor of USC Aiken! We asked Dr. Heimmermann, Why Aiken?
"My family and I chose Aiken because of its dynamic university and its eclectic and welcoming community. We were impressed by USC Aiken’s commitment to supporting high-quality academics and engaged teaching and learning, impactful research, and service to the community and, above all, its laser-focus on student success and community enrichment. Additionally, we found the charming Aiken community not only to be supportive of its hometown university and a place of opportunities but most generous with its hospitality. This truly is a great place!"

Come join the USCA family ❤️
Prospective students, register online at usca.edu/visit for our next Focused Friday campus tour coming up on December 3. FYI, registration for this event closes on Tuesday, November 30.
The USCA Office of Admissions invites prospective students to visit campus through various options, including Focused Fridays. These smaller events are held on campus and virtually for prospective students interested in a particular major or field of study. During a Focused Friday tour, visitors interact with deans, professors, and students, while participating in hands-on activities and enjoying a campus tour.
