We were thrilled to host our very first Dance Immersion Day at Aiken High School with approximately 75 dancers! Alongside our AHS dancers, we welcomed students from North Aiken Elementary, Aiken Intermediate, and Horse Creek Academy for a full day of dancing and learning.
Bringing students from different schools together to share their love of dance helps build connections across our district and inspires young dancers to continue growing in the art form as they move through our schools.
Dancers spent the day learning choreography from three talented local choreographers, including the South Carolina Dance Association President-Elect, and the day ended with an informal performance where everyone shared what they learned.
Thank you to all of our dancers, choreographers, volunteers, and schools who helped make our first Dance Immersion Day such a success!
