If I could go back and save new bakers money in ONE area… it would probably be this.

Stop buying every trendy mold, gadget, and baking tool you see online.

Because social media makes it feel like you NEED:
the newest mold
the newest cutter
the newest decorating tool
the newest viral baking gadget

But most of the time? You don’t.

A lot of bakers end up with drawers full of:
one-use molds
tools they forgot they owned
gadgets they used once
trendy supplies that stopped trending 2 weeks later

Meanwhile they’re still struggling with:
pricing
consistency
marketing
customer retention
actual sales

And here’s the truth:
A fancy mold will not build a profitable business.

Your SKILL matters more than your gadgets.

Some of the most successful bakers are using:
basic sheet pans
simple scoops
standard piping tips
reliable mixers
tools they’ve had for YEARS

Before buying a new tool, ask yourself: “Will this actually help me make money… or am I just excited because it’s trendy?”

Because there’s a huge difference between:
investing in your business
and emotionally shopping for your business.

And trust me… every baker eventually learns that lesson the hard way.

One mistake I see SO many new bakers make is spending hundreds on packaging before they even know what products consistently sell.

And listen… I get it.
Pretty boxes are exciting.
Custom stickers feel official.
Branded tissue paper makes you feel like a “real business.”

But packaging should SUPPORT sales — not come before them.

A lot of bakers end up with:
stacks of expensive boxes
packaging that doesn’t fit their products
seasonal supplies they never used
branding colors they later changed
hundreds of dollars tied up in supplies collecting dust

Here’s the truth most people don’t say:
Customers care more about your product tasting amazing than whether your box has gold foil edges.

In the beginning:
keep packaging simple
buy small quantities
test what actually works
wait until your menu is more stable before custom ordering everything

You do NOT need:
custom tissue paper
expensive bakery boxes
bulk logo stickers
five packaging styles for five products

Not yet.

Your goal in the beginning is:
consistent sales > aesthetic perfection

Because the baker making steady sales in plain boxes is doing better than the baker with gorgeous packaging and no repeat customers.

Cute packaging is the upgrade. Not the foundation.

Let's talk about something that doesn't get discussed enough...

Just because you're a great baker doesn't automatically mean you know how to market your business.

And that's okay.

Nobody hands you a social media marketing manual when you learn how to make amazing cookies, cakes, cookie pies, or breads.

The truth is, baking is only half the equation.

People have to SEE your products before they can buy them.

That's why I'm such a huge believer in reels.

Reels help new customers discover your business.
Reels help build trust.
Reels help create cravings.
Reels help you reach people who would have never found your page otherwise.

In this walkthrough video, I'm showing you how I use ChatGPT and CapCut together to create content that stands out, grabs attention, and gives people a reason to stop scrolling.

Because more views can lead to more followers.
More followers can lead to more customers.
And more customers can lead to more sales.

Groceries cost more.
Bills cost more.
Life costs more.

We're living in a time when a lot of families are feeling the pressure.

And sometimes the answer isn't finding another job. Sometimes it's using the talents God has already given you.

If I already knew how to bake and wanted to bring in some extra income for my family, this is exactly what I would do.

I wouldn't spend months bouncing from recipe to recipe hoping something finally worked.

I'd start with a proven system.

I'd choose ONE product I could become known for. Something that stops people from scrolling. Something that feels special, looks beautiful, and gets people talking.

I'd learn how to create multiple flavors from the same base recipe so I could save time, save money on ingredients, and keep things simple.

I'd focus on products that are easy to batch, easy to customize, and profitable enough to make my time worth it.

And I'd learn how to market those products because baking is only half the business. People need to see it, crave it, and remember it.

Okay this sounds unexpectedly GOOD. 🍒✨

The cherry + passion fruit base probably gave it that deep juicy tropical flavor, and then the peach ring vanilla cream on top softened everything into almost a creamy candy smoothie vibe.

Like:

🥭 tropical nectar
🍑 peach ring candy
🍦 vanilla cream swirl

Honestly this sounds like one of those “I was just experimenting…” drinks that accidentally becomes a favorite. 😂

Two years ago my family received some unexpected news that we were completely unprepared for.

At the time, I had only been running my cottage bakery for about 4 months. I was doing well… but not well enough to carry my family through what was ahead.

Then one day I saw a video that literally changed my life.

That was the moment I pivoted from simply selling my own treats… to selling the recipes, flavor ideas, and mini guides behind the treats I was creating — especially my cake pucks.

That one shift changed everything.

Over the last two years I’ve watched thousands of bakers recreate my recipes, start businesses, try new ideas, and realize they were capable of more than they thought.

But something else has happened over the last couple of months…

I’ve found myself helping bakers do more than just make treats.

I’ve been helping them:
