Mary Baltz Curran and her powerhouse mare F***e Blanche (aka Ally) won the Region 3 Beginner Novice Horse Championships last weekend in Ocala, finishing on their dressage score of 25!! Mary and Ally have really put in the work this year and I'm so happy to be a part of their journey. Go Team 💪❤️.

The horses enjoyed a well earned post-show play day today. Babica and I went for a hack around the neighborhood, girlfriend loves to go adventuring! Marilyn and I took Campo and Sandaro out for a cruise on the trails, charging around like a couple of kids on ponies, what fun! Katie and I had a blast with Lego and River on the cross country field. They both played in the water and I popped River over a couple of logs, oh boy! Here is Katie and Lego in the water. Fun day for all of us!

Fun weekend at Tryon!!

Marilyn Johnson's Sandaro had a great second outing at I-1, winning both of his classes with a 66.3 on Saturday and a 70.1 on Sunday. He is The Man!

Katie Fox O'Brien's 5 year old River Rae had some young horse nerves on Saturday, but came out strong with a 72.5 for the win on Sunday in his 1-3. We are pretty excited about him and are looking forward to seeing what he can do. He is so smart and talented, and his sense of humor keeps us on our toes! Good boy River!

Katie Fox O'Brien and her 8 year old Nikolet NHF (aka Lego) rocked it in their 3rd level debut, ending up 3rd level Adult Amateur Champion! It is so fun watching Katie take the reins and enjoy her boy. Go Katie and Lego!

Marilyn Johnson's Campanero came along for the fun and had some fantastic schooling rides! They are knocking on the Grand Prix door, and will be out in the show ring soon. Campo is talented and can also be a handful. Marilyn has really put in the work and it's pretty great to see it all come together!

Bridget Sheridan's 8 year old Babica came along for the experience. We haven't been together long, but I am smitten! She was relaxed and confident and gave me wonderful rides. I can't wait to see what the future holds for her!!

Thank you to Marilyn, Katie, and Bridget for trusting me with their horses. I feel very fortunate to be working with such an amazing group of horses and humans. Thank you Jeremy Steinberg for all of your invaluable help. The village for the win ❤️.

The Boys were on fire at Stableview over the weekend! Marilyn Johnson's Sandaro moved up to I1, and came out strong with a 68.3 on Saturday and a 71.3 on Sunday. Go Sandaro!!

Katie O'Brien's Nikolet NHF (aka Lego) moved up to 3rd level and understood the assignment with a 68.3 on Saturday and a 71.2 on Sunday at 3-3. Good boy, Lego!!

Thank you to Marilyn Johnson and Katie Fox O'Brien for trusting me with your boys, and for always being so positive and supportive. And thank you Jeremy Steinberg, for your invaluable help. You guys rock!!!

And thanks to my Mom, Suzi Ronning, for taking these pretty pictures!

We are home from a fun weekend at regionals! Marilyn Johnson's Sandaro and I had a great ride in the PSG championships, but unfortunately, a costly spook rained on our parade. While disappointing, he felt fantastic and that's what really counts! Love that boy!!

Katie O'Brien and Nikolet (Lego) took 4th out of 29 in the AA second level championships. Go Katie!! She had a lovely test and Lego was on his game. Congratulations and onto 3rd level!

Katie's 4 year old River and I were 2nd in his training 3 warmup class, but finished out of the ribbons in the championship class. This was only his 3rd show and a big ask, and he really stepped up! He took everything in with confidence and stayed impressively focused. Good boy River!!

Marilyn's PRE Campanero came along for the experience and she had great schooling rides! He hasn't shown much and needs a little more time, but we are knocking on the Grand Prix door at home. Their debut is coming soon!

Thank you to Marilyn Johnson and Katie Fox O'Brien for trusting me with your boys. I love them all and am so grateful for you guys ❤️.

We had a fun show at Bruce's Field last weekend! Marilyn Johnson's Sandaro came to play in the PSG, putting in two solid tests, with a win on Sunday. He was his usual confident and powerful self, and he's feeling fantastic in the work! Katie O'Brien's 4 yr old River handled his second show like a seasoned pro, and I think he appreciates an audience lol. Katie and I are pretty excited about him, and he makes us laugh everyday with his charmingly cheeky personality. Thank you Marilyn and Katie, for everything. You guys rock 😊. And thank you to everyone who braved the heat to come out and support!

We had a great show at Stableview a couple weeks ago!! Marilyn Johnson's Sandaro and I knocked off a little showring rust in the PSG, and he delivered a very solid and rideable test. It's feeling like everything is coming together with him and I'm excited for this season🔥. Katie O'Brien and her Nikolet NHF (aka Lego), won a pair of second level classes and finished off her qualifying scores for regionals. Go Katie and Lego🥂! Katie's 4 year old River (Lego's 1/2 brother by the same sire, Sir Sinclair), and I earned a 72% at training level at his first show!! He was very brave, tried his hardest, and didn't give me any heart palpitations 🤣. We are pretty excited about this beautiful boy🤩!! Jody Cattell and her Delacour SGF (aka Pois), put in a lovely second level test and Pois made us chuckle with just enough of her trademark sass. These two are a long-time team and it's so fun to see them work and play together 🥰.

A special thank you to Marilyn, Katie, and Jody for all of their support and positivity ✨. And a huge shout out to my Mom, Suzi Ronning, and my good friend, Sarah Dixon, for helping us manage River. You guys rock 😎.

Show update ✨ Katie Fox O'Brien's 6 year old Nikolet (aka Lego) was a rockstar at Regionals! We ended up 6th in a competitve 2nd level championship, good boy Lego! He took in the sights of the Virginia Horse Center and handled a spooky competition arena like a seasoned pro. We got a 69%, which earned us a wild card invitation to the USDF Finals in Kentucky in November. We have decided not to attend this year, but we are aiming for it next year, with both Lego and his younger brother River (more on this little firecracker soon 😍). A huge thank you to Katie, for everything... The support, the laughs, the positivity. You make horse showing fun 😊. And thank you to my Mom, Suzi Ronning, for all of her help, as always. She has been with me through many a show, and I think this one will go down as one of my favorites. Thank you guys ❤️. Go Team Lego!!
