This week at Kingdom Kids, we're learning all about the Armor of God and how God equips us to stand strong in our faith! To help bring our theme to life, we were excited to welcome one of our own APS safety officers today! 👮‍♀️🚓 She took time to show our students the protective gear and armor that she wears to stay safe while serving our community. Just as police officers wear armor for protection, we are learning from Ephesians 6:11 that God gives us spiritual armor to help us face challenges, make good choices, and stand firm in our belief! Congratulations to Olivia B. and Whit E. on being selected to attend Palmetto Girls State and Palmetto Boys State!

Each year, one outstanding female and one outstanding male junior are chosen to represent our school in these prestigious leadership and citizenship programs. Selection is based on demonstrated leadership, character, and involvement within the school and community.

During this immersive experience, delegates gain firsthand knowledge of state and local government through mock elections, political campaigns, and the legislative process while developing leadership skills and a deeper understanding of civic responsibility.

We are incredibly proud of Olivia and Whit for earning this honor and know they will represent our school with excellence. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement!

Wow! We have had such a great first week during our Kingdom Kids Summer Camp! ☀️
