Thank you to all of the students that have donated to the Birthday Book Club! The students were all on News Flash in order to share their books with the school. A label has been placed in the book in honor of the student that donated. Once the books are returned to the library, then they can be checked out by other students and teachers. Stop by the library if you would like more information about the Birthday Book Club!

Aiken Elementary School has a new bridge in the Outdoor Classroom! Michael Erwin and the Scouts of Troop 110 worked on the bridge and completed it for Michael's Eagle Scout Project. The bridge was placed over a drainage ravine, along a path in the Outdoor Classroom. The path leads to one of the Outdoor Classroom's seating areas and students will now be able to cross the bridge instead of stepping over the ravine. Thanks to Michael Erwin for all of his hard work and dedication! And shout out to the rest of the Scouts and leaders in Troop 110 that helped bring this project to life! We cannot wait until it cools off a bit so that we can take advantage of this new addition to our Outdoor Classroom!

It was a fantastic Friday here at Aiken Elementary School! We got to celebrate Ms. Keck getting the Golden Apple Award! Please congratulate her if you see her.
Ms. Reynolds also passed on the Wreath of Appreciation to the fabulous Ms. Little! We are better together!
