Our Alumni spotlight for this weeks THROWBACK THURSDAY is Bronwyn Wood! Bronwyn graduated from USCA in 2024 and is currently employed at Wellstar MCG and is working in the Adult Float Pool. In this position, Bronwyn provides relief to understaffed adult units within the facility!

“…through it’s rigorous curriculum and high expectations, the program was shaping me into the nurse I am today. Although it took time to fully grow into that role, I was able to navigate challenges throughout my career with grace, humility, and perseverance. In hindsight, I recognize that these are exactly the qualities the program instilled in me, alongside the clinical skills and judgment essential to nursing practice.

I am deeply grateful for my experience, and it is a true honor to now give back to the program that played such a meaningful role in shaping both my career and who I am today.”

This week for THROWBACK THURSDAY we are highlighting one of our own. Professor Lacey Julian returned to USCA and is currently a Course Instructor and Clinical Coordinator here in the School of Nursing. She also works as a Registered Nurse at United Energy Works. What an honor it is to have an alumni return and pour back into the school they once went to! ❤️❤️❤️💙💙💙
