Think tutoring with horses.

We are an educational nonprofit and we pair kids with rescued miniature horses to improve education and literacy skills through games and activities played together outside and unplugged.

We are so excited to share another special addition to LEARN Aiken Foundation — our new greenhouse! 🌱🌿

This greenhouse will become a hands-on learning space where children can discover the importance of growing healthy food, caring for gardens, and understanding the connection between farm-to-table living and everyday life.

Through this new opportunity, students will be able to learn lessons in science, nutrition, responsibility, sustainability, and rural farm life in a fun and engaging way. We believe some of the best learning happens when children can experience it with their own hands — planting seeds, watching growth take place, and seeing the value of hard work and God’s creation all around them.

At LEARN Aiken, we are passionate about creating meaningful educational experiences outside of the traditional classroom. Our greenhouse will help us continue building a peaceful and enriching environment where children can grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who continues to support the mission and vision of LEARN Aiken Foundation. We cannot wait to see all the learning, growth, and memories that will take place here. 💚

We are so excited to share a huge milestone for LEARN Aiken Foundation — our new arena is officially up and running! 🎉🐴

This project has been months in the making, and it truly took a village. A special thank you goes out to Cesar De Leon with Grading and More by C De Leon for the incredible work he did preparing the land. The difference in elevation across the arena was nearly 20 feet, and his expertise in clearing and grading made what seemed impossible… possible.

After all the groundwork was complete, We rolled up our sleeves and put the horse arena up. Seeing it now fully functional is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Most importantly, we give all the glory and thanks to God for what He continues to do through this journey. His guidance, provision, and faithfulness have led us every step of the way as we serve the children and families in our community through this ministry.

This new space is going to make a lasting impact. It will allow us to welcome more children into our program and give them a larger, safer environment to work alongside our miniature horses. Through equine-assisted learning, these kids will continue building confidence while strengthening their reading, writing, math, and social skills in a hands-on, meaningful way.

Beyond our educational programs, the arena also opens the door for new opportunities to support our mission. We’re looking forward to hosting round robin roping tournaments as fundraisers, and to creating special experiences where first responders can come out, connect with horses, and enjoy time in the arena.

We are planning our first fundraiser event for Fall 2026 — and we can’t wait to share more details soon!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has supported LEARN Aiken. This arena represents growth, opportunity, and the continued impact we can make in the lives of children in our community.

Stay tuned — the best is yet to come. ❤️🐎

We brought home a new member of our LEARN Herd a couple of weeks ago. Meet Banjo, our newest horse. Thanks to Nicola Bolt and Hope's Legacy Equine Rescue, this super sweet guy has come to us. He came from a tough situation up in Virginia, so we are giving him some extra special tender loving care. We are so grateful to have this cool guy join our herd!

The arena is getting closer to being done. We can put up all the arena panels very soon. This will allow for more kids to be working with the horses since we won't be restricted to a round pen. Cesar also worked on the new round pen and it is up and ready! We are very excited about the possibilities and the future for LEARN Aiken. We could not have done this without the help of Cesar De Leon and Grading and More by C De Leon. This was a ton of work. There was a tremendous difference in height from one end of the arena to the other and grading had to be done extensively to make this work! Thank you for what you do Cesar!

Wow, this is what the paddock looked like before and now you can really see the arena coming into play. This has been a lot of work and we have the right person getting our property ready. We will be able to have a lot more room to conduct our equine assisted learning lessons and summer programs. We are so excited for the progress and can't express our gratitude to God for all the blessings of moving forward with LEARN Aiken. All glory to our amazing father. Thank you to Grading and More by C De Leon for not only his belief and faith in God but all the work he is doing here on our property. Thank you Cesar De Leon.

A little snow life at LEARN Aiken. Horses are staying warm and the heated water bucket has been great. While we are pausing on the work being done because of the snow, you can see all the equipment and land covered in snow. What a beautiful couple of days. Hope y'all have stayed safe, warm and enjoyed the winter wonderland!

🌱🐴 Big things are happening at LEARN Aiken! 🐴🌱

We’ve been hard at work on the property, and we’re excited to share some exciting progress with you! Over the past few weeks, we’ve cleared trees to make room for a brand-new horse paddock and a future arena—and the transformation has been incredible to watch.

The new paddock is officially finished, and our horses are already enjoying their expanded space. We’ve also seeded rye grass for the winter, setting the stage for healthy pasture and happy horses in the months ahead.

Now, with the arena area fully cleared, we’re moving into the next phase: grading the land as we prepare to build a space that will serve our students, horses, and mission for years to come.
None of this happens overnight—or without a lot of prayer, sweat, and support. We’re so grateful to everyone who believes in what we’re building here at LEARN Aiken.

📸🎥 Check out the photos and videos below to see the progress—we can’t wait to show you what’s next!

A big thank you goes out to Mark Zele for the fence work and to Cesar at Grading and More by C De Leon.
