Slippah Foundation began in 2005 as a simple wish:

"I wish for all the children of MWH to have a pair of rubber slippers so they won't have to go barefoot. Somehow, even if I'll be one month late in getting them their slippers ... I'll make sure they'll get it!"

Since then, Lynn Vasquez has distributed thousands of slippahs to less fortunate children in Hawaii's housing projects and to houseless children along Oahu's leeward coast. Slippah Foundation is a registered non-profit organization and is thankful to its many volunteers and donators who make each years mission successful!

I had one mission today. And that was to find children Slippahs. On my quest, I found two suppliers. The first gave me the price she was paying and the name of her supplier. I gave thanks to Jesus. As I was walking a bit more I came across another supplier. I looked at the children's Slippahs and asked how much. The price was a bit high. But something in me said to tell him who I gave them to. He blurted out "How many you like? I give you good price!" A good fifteen minutes of conversation of sizes, boxes and delivery day was made.

Mahalo to All who donated! Mahalo Jade Moon for the Midweek Article. Because of it, we were able to purchase children Slippahs.

To God be the Glory! ✝️🙌🏾🌺😘
