🏆 Four days. Three divisions. One unforgettable championship. ⛳️

The 63rd Hawai‘i State Amateur Stroke Play Championship delivered incredible competition at Pearl at Kalauao, culminating with a thrilling finish on our championship course.

🔥 Trailing by six strokes entering the final round, defending champion Tyler Loree of Kula mounted an incredible comeback, firing a remarkable 8-under 64 to finish at 2-under-par and successfully defend his Championship Division title by a single stroke.

👏 Mililani’s Joshua Hayashida held the overnight lead and carded a final-round 1-under 71, finishing just one shot back at 1-under-par.

🌺 Ava Cepeda of Hauʻula captured the Women’s Championship title at 10-over-par, holding off a strong challenge from Mililani’s Kate Nakaoka to earn an exemption into the 126th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship.

💪 Joshua Zhang of Honolulu claimed the Mid-Amateur title, finishing at 13-over-par.

Mahalo to the 104 competitors, Hawaii State Golf Association, volunteers, staff, and spectators who made this year’s championship a success.
