Agawam Rotary The Rotary Club of Agawam is a service organization with the motto of 'Service Above Self'. The Club meets weekly, and is welcoming new members!

We are a small club with membership between 35 and 40. We were chartered in 1975 and our sponsoring club was the Rotary Club of West Springfield. Our ages range from the young to the young at heart. Much of our fellowship takes place at our Summer Concerts, on the town green, in front of Phelps School. We run one of the concession stands and would love to have you drop by. (We might even put you to work)

💧🇬🇹 Agawam Rotary is helping bring clean, reliable water to families in Guatemala!

We’re proud to be part of the Xiquin Juyu Water, Sanitation & Hygiene Project, a Rotary initiative that will make a meaningful difference for approximately 140 families and 870 residents in Xiquin Juyu, Guatemala.

Today, many women and children in the community must walk 30–45 minutes each way to collect water. This project will help change that.

💧 A new potable water system connecting approximately 140 homes
🚰 Water storage and distribution tanks
🌱 140 gray water filters
🏠 140 improved or new latrines
📚 Education on water, sanitation, hygiene, nutrition, and environmental conservation

What makes this project special is that it’s truly a community partnership. Local families will contribute labor and materials, help maintain the system, and plant and care for trees around the water sources. Rotary, local government, and Asociación BPD are working together to help create a sustainable solution that will benefit the community for years to come.

This is what Rotary’s “Service Above Self” looks like—people coming together to help create healthier, stronger communities, both here at home and around the world. ❤️

Did you know we have a pollinator garden? 🐝 🦋 It's located behind AHS Agawam Public Schools Page ! Today some rotarians and helpers got together to clean it up. Thanks to Dan Balboni, current educator at the high school who cares for the garden year round, for helping too. Also, thanks to Decaro Landscaping for delivering the mulch! The butterflies and bees were loving it out there today! Rotary District 7890
