“I love SGA because it allows me to have a voice and represent my class, it has also brought me a lot closer to people I would’ve never met if I wasn’t apart of it!”

She is also on the AC Varsity Skating Team, NSLS, CAN, PAB, RAOK Club, Honor College, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, Alpha Phi, Panhel, and Bulldogs Barking!

“I love SGA because it brings people from different sports teams and majors together in order to find benefits for everyone on campus! Being a class officer allows me to be more involved with my classmates and in touch with others who hold similar positions. Being a part of SGA has definitely impacted my college experience for the better and has guided me to getting more involved with student-led groups!!”

Lyndsay is also on the SGA Special Project Committee and the Mental Health Committee, she is a member of Bulldogs Barking, Fincom, CAN, and has a work study job through the Athletic Department!

“I love SGA because it makes me feel involved and connected to other students and administration around campus. I enjoy working as a team with the other class officers and giving a voice to the rest of the Freshman Class. Having this position has allowed me to build relationships and share ideas with a group of great people!”

She is also involved with Bulldogs Barking, Campus Activities Network, Fincom, SGA Mental Health Committee and External Affairs Committee, and she works at the Bookstore on campus!

Give a warm welcome to Steven Martin! Steven is our co-chairperson for our Mental Health Committee; a committee we added just this semester!

Steven is also the treasurer of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, on the Men’s Lacrosse team, and is on the Student Athletic Advisory Council.

What Matt loves about SGA:
“I've been fortunate to hold this position for 2 years, because of that I have been able to see tremendous growth from where SGA was to where SGA is now and where it is going. What I love most is the impact we are able to have on the students here on campus. The goal is to always make the campus a better place whether that be through capital improvements or through campus initiatives. I have truly enjoyed my time as the Executive President of SGA, I am so proud of the work we have been able to complete the past 2 years. We still have more to do as SGA continues to grow.”
