We had a great day at Worlds of Fun! The choir earned an Outstanding 2 rating for their performance today, and we learned a lot from the clinician who worked with us afterward. Last HS/MS performance of the school year in the books!

We’re back at Mizzou Arena, for the state basketball championships this time! They sang the National Anthem at 10AM, and they’ll sing it again at noon, and at 2 PM.

Rylee, Jami, Izzy, and Anna received a gold rating on their ensemble performance; they’re going to state! Izzy is also taking her solo to state with a gold rating, and Anna received a silver rating on her solo. It was a very productive morning!

We’re here at WEMO Choir 2024! The performance is at 3:00 PM at Archie High School, and it’s FREE! Come hear them (and singers from several other schools) sing!
UPDATE: there are 5 soloists in the concert, and 4 of them are from Adrian!! Congrats to Journey, Gabby, Lena, and Anna on being selected to sing solos!

Congratulations to the following students, who have been selected to sing in the 7th/8th Grade Treble Choir! Adalynn B, Kenzie C, Kaylee D, Lillea D, Kayleigh M, Atlanna P, Emma S, Courtney W, and Briana Y.
And congratulations to the following students, who have been selected to sing in the 7th/8th Grade Mixed Choir! Venus C, Delilah G, Gaven G, Jack L, and Boris P.
Both Honor Choirs will perform at UCM on Saturday, 11/4. More information has been sent to parents via email. Honor choir participants need to order a choir shirt by the end of the day Monday, 10/23.

This year’s choir shirts are now available for anyone who wants to order one (or more)! Remember to select “local delivery” to get your shirt delivered to the school.
The only people who are *required* to have a choir shirt are those selected to perform in the 7th/8th Grade Honor Choir. I will announce who is selected this Wednesday 10/18, and those selected will need to get their shirts ordered by the end of the day Monday 10/23, to make sure we get the shirts before Saturday 11/4, the day of the honor choir performance.

Gabby, Alexia, and Anna had a great day in Columbia at the Mizzou Choral & Vocal Festival yesterday, and they had an awe-inspiring performance with the Festival Choir! Thank you, University of Missouri School of Music!

Congratulations to all three girls!
Anna and Jami have qualified for the All-District Choir, and Izzy qualified for the District Treble Choir!
Both Choirs (along with the 9th/10th Grade Honor Choir) will perform at Oak Grove High School on Saturday, October 21st.
So proud of them!!

Today at Large Ensemble Contest, the Adrian Choirs received a Bronze 🥉 *Satisfactory rating! Super proud of their hard work.
*The judges actually determined that the performance was worthy of a Silver 🥈 Outstanding rating, but we received a one-rank penalty, because none of our baritones could attend, so we had to have some sopranos and altos learn the baritone part of each song the week before contest, and sing it up an octave.
