After a day filled with professional development and classroom planning, we decided to unwind and get to know our colleagues better with a fun game of Social Mingle Bingo. The objective was simple: find a staff member who matched the description in each square, ensuring that each person could only be used once, to achieve a bingo.
We also indulged in some delicious muffins and refreshing apple c***r. Congratulations to our winners, Ms. Galina, Ms. Leila, and Ms. Brooklyn!
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all our staff members. We would be *muffin* without you!

🎨🖌️Today was a day filled with creativity and laughter as one of our Early Head Start classrooms dove into a fun and educational brush study! The little ones explored different types of brushes, learning how each one can create unique patterns and textures.

This week, we are celebrating Spirit Week as part of Adrian High School's Homecoming festivities. Yesterday's theme was "Dress as Your Hometown Hero." One of our staff members chose to honor one of our beloved custodians, Steve, by dressing up as him. Steve was a great sport and even posed for a picture with Inessa.

The Adrian Public Schools Head Start Early Childhood Programs is asking the Office of Head Start to approve a change to our Head Start program that would better align the number of children we are funded to serve with our current program capacity.
Our request would reduce our required funded enrollment while allowing us to invest more of our existing resources in the children, families and educators we serve. No currently enrolled child would lose their Head Start slot as a result of this change.
This would mean greater investment in our educators, more individualized support for families, enhanced services for children with special needs, and a stronger, more sustainable Head Start program for Lenawee County.
We believe our resources can do more when they are invested where children and families need them most.
We invite parents, community partners, advocates and other supporters to stand with APS Head Start by adding their names to the following letter. This can be done by filling out the Google Form in the link below. Signatures are due by September 25th.
