This past weekend, four of our Zeta Beta brothers had the honor of attending the Theta Chi 170th Anniversary Convention and 42nd School of Fraternity Practices. We were honored to have multiple alumni travel with us. We spend time with Brothers from all over the nation as we celebrated our great Fraternity and its many accomplishments.

This weekend was especially meaningful as our very own Zeta Beta and Adrian College alumnus, Alan B. Copeland (Alan B Copeland), was elected International President of the Grand Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity. It is truly an honor to have one of our own serving as International President, and Brother Copeland is a testament to what it means to be a Theta Chi.

We know Brother Copeland will serve our great Fraternity with integrity, vision, and unwavering dedication. Congratulations, Brother Copeland, on this incredible achievement. The Brothers of Zeta Beta are proud to support you as you lead Theta Chi into its next chapter. We look forward to seeing the continued growth and success of our Fraternity under your leadership.

Last but certainly not least, we will be recognizing senior brother Chris Smith. Bro. Smith is from Saline, MI, and will be graduating with a bachelor’s in Teacher Education with a minor in Social Studies. During his time here at Adrian, Bro. Smith ran for the NCAA Cross Country and Track & Field teams and was apart of Mortar Board Honors Society, and Adrian College Aspiring Educators club. Specifically one memorable memory was going with 10 of my brothers down to New Orleans for the 174th national convention. Brother Smith will be dearly missed. L&R Bro. Smith.
