Today is the National Day of Prayer. Join us today as we pray for the leaders of our nation, state, county, and communities. The National Day of Prayer has great significance for us as a nation as it enables us to recall and to teach the way in which our founding fathers sought the wisdom of God when faced with critical decisions. It stands as a call for us to humbly come before God, seeking His guidance for our leaders and His grace upon us as a people. The unanimous passage of the bill establishing the National Day of Prayer as an annual event, signifies that prayer is as important to our nation today as it was in the beginning.

Like Thanksgiving or Christmas, this day has become a national observance placed on all Hallmark calendars and observed annually across the nation and in Washington, D.C. Every year, local, state, and federal observances were held from sunrise in Maine to sunset in Hawaii, uniting Americans from all socio-economic, political and ethnic backgrounds in prayer for our nation. It is estimated that over two million people attended more than 30,000 observances – organized by approximately 40,000 volunteers. At state capitols, county court houses, on the steps of city halls, and in schools, businesses, churches and homes, people stopped their activities and gathered for prayer.

To learn more about this day, visit https://www.nationaldayofprayer.org/about.

"Some of the reasons that we love having our son at LCS is that we know the love of Christ is being poured into him each day. We know that he is in a Christ centered environment and that he is being nurtured and loved on when we can't be with him. Though Brett is still very young, we have seen tremendous growth in him throughout his time in Little Cougars and I can't imagine him spending these young years anywhere else!" - The Hillard Family

When you make a gift to LCS, you fund opportunities that transform the lives of our students and their families. You support scholarships that enable deserving, motivated young students to thrive within a Christ-centered environment. Your support TODAY will help to bring top-notch faculty to our campus, support families who lack the resources but who desire to attend our school, and provide state-of-the-art technology for labs and classrooms.

We are grateful to those donors who choose to show their love for LCS through generous financial support. Will you show your love for LCS by giving a gift to our students today? To give, visit: www.lenawee.org/gift.
