This week Mrs. Foss and Mrs. Painter’s preschool class celebrated the Bread Study with making sandwiches with their families! During this study they made a few different types of bread. Monkey bread, pizza, corn muffins, donuts and even baked a loaf of bread in a bread machine that a family shared with the class. What a fun study 🤩

Mrs. Foss and Mrs. Painter’s class celebrated the Buildings Study today. The children were given tooth picks, gummy bears and mini marshmallows to build with. They worked on their fine motor skills with this celebration!

Mrs. Foss and Mrs. Painter’s class finished up our Balls Study! The class enjoyed playing with all different kinds of balls, sharing different balls with the class and even determining what balls were hollow and what ones were solid.

We celebrated the study with ball shaped foods. Parents brought in different types of foods that were shaped like balls. It was a great celebration!

We are excited to announce that TPS Preschool 1/2 Day Preschool openings are BACK! Our Half Day program is tuition based and runs 8 AM to 11 AM. We would love to have your child come learn with us!

We CURRENTLY have openings in our Half Day OR Full Day 3 and 4-year-old tuition program with Mrs. Painter and Mrs. Foss!
🕗 Hours: Half Day 8 A.M. -11 A.M. OR Full Day 8 A.M. - 3 P.M.
📅 Days: Monday–Friday
💲 Cost: $350/month for Half Day or $700/month for Full Day
👩‍🏫 Small class size (16 children, 2 teachers)
🎨 Our play-based curriculum keeps learning fun and engaging with hands-on studies that last 4–6 weeks—perfect for curious young minds!

Tecumseh Preschool has openings in its tuition full time 3yo program! Mrs Painter and Mrs Foss are amazing teachers bringing so much fun to their classroom! We follow the TPS schedule with a few preschool exceptions and run M-F 8-3. We offer 1 snack and free lunch! We use a play based curriculum spending 4-6 weeks "studying" fun age appropriate studies.

Mrs. Huntley and Ms. Glenn’s class has wrapped up their Insect Study 🐞

Over the last few weeks we’ve learned an insect has 3 body parts, 6 legs, and sometimes wings; metamorphosis is a BIG WORD that means BIG CHANGE; bees dance to communicate 💃🏼; insects can be great helpers for our Earth; and much, much more fun interesting things about those creepy crawlies!

As we finish up our school year, we’re sad to see it end, but we look forward to what’s to come! Some of us will be back for a second year of PreK while others are off to Y5/K. Each and every one us were hardworking rockstars this year that grew and learned so much!

We sure will miss you and hope you have a great Summer ☀️🤟🏼

Mrs. Foss & Mrs. Painters class celebrated their last study of the year today! Water 💦
We used eye droppers, different colors of water and coffee filters. Water tubs with different materials to play with and watercolors to create beautiful art work 🎨 It was a fun day celebrating!!
