Mrs. Painter and Mrs. Foss’s class just ended the Beginning the Year Study with a friendship tree celebration. We have been working hard on being kind and making new friends at school!

Last Night's Open House went really well! We were so excited to meet with our students and their families. We are ready to start an amazing year!

Hello Families! We can't wait to meet all of our new friends attending Tecumseh Preschool this year! If your child is in a tuition classroom, their first day of school will be Aug 23rd. If your child is in a GSRP classroom, their first day will be Aug 28th.

GSRP is required to do home visits and your child's teacher will be contacting you next week to set that up. Home visits will be done the week of Aug 21st.

Please remember, if you have not done so already, please gather and email a scanned copy or a picture of your child's birth certificate and health appraisal form signed by their doctor to our director, Shawn Behnke. Preschool students are required to have these forms before they will be able to attend Preschool at Tecumseh.

Mrs. Painter and Mrs. Foss’s class ended the year with the Insect Study. We sponge painted butterflies for our celebration.

Wow, tonight was a huge success! The students and Mrs. Linn did an outstanding job tonight at the Preschool Spring Music Concert! We had a packed house of support. THANK YOU MRS. LINN!

Tecumseh Preschool will be hosting an Open House on Saturday, May 20th, 2023, from 9am-10am. We will have information available about FREE and tuition-based preschool, our program, and our amazing curriculum! You will have the opportunity to view all of our classrooms and meet our amazing staff. For your convenience, we will have enrollment packets available and a list of the documents required to start preschool this fall. We will also have giveaway items for families, compliments of the GSRP program. We are located inside the Sutton Early Learning Center building at 2780 Sutton Rd Adrian, MI 49221. Mrs. Painter and Mrs. Foss’s class has been busy learning about trees. We had our tree celebration by playing tic tac toe on our wood pieces.

Tecumseh Preschool is feeling the love. Thank you Sutton PTO !. We love our door decorations! The coffee cart helped us get focused and energized for the week ahead.

Last Thursday night,Tecumseh Preschool had a successful Literacy Night! We learned about caterpillars and butterflies while promoting literacy with our preschool families. Thank you to all who came out to Literacy Night. The star of the show was the book The Impatient Caterpillar by Ross Burach.

Mrs. Foss and Mrs. Painter’s class celebrated the Water Study today. At large group we discussed all that we learned during the study. During small group we made Oobleck using cornstarch and water. Each child was able to take a bag home to share with their family #️⃣ preschool is messy

Mrs. Painter and Mrs. Foss’s class have been busy reading their favorite books during reading month. 📚

Preschool will dismiss at 11:00 am Friday, March 3 as previously planned unless weather changes.

Mrs Foss and Mrs Painter’s class celebrated 🎉their learning on the Sign Study today! Each child made their own sign activity to take home and share with their families. They assembled a go, slow and stop sign using tape of their choosing to put on a craft stick.

All events and practices are canceled for today (Feb. 22).
