Madison Elementary School

Is anyone getting calls from the school on Sundays? I haven't gotten a weekly announcement for a few weeks.
When can families expect to hear what we need to know for the first days and weeks of virtual learning?
Just a cute little rhyme for the teachers who are learning how to do things differently right along with all the parents and kids. Thank you for caring.

Hi everyone! I hope all of you are well and staying healthy! I miss all my kiddos, especially since we were going to start coding and robotics this third trimester. I had all kinds of fun activities with Sphero, Dash and Dot, Code and Go Mouse, and Botley! I wanted to give you all some ideas of things you can do to continue coding. You can work on Hour of Code Activities on Just make sure you select your level and device along the left side so the activities match. Also there are these: K-1: 2-5: Other fun educational websites: • www.abcya.comwww.pbskids.org Students in grades 3-5 have typing accounts on We usually spend the first 5-10 minutes practicing our home row typing skills. 2nd grade students have SplashLearn accounts as well. Hopefully that information was forwarded to you. If you did not receive it, let me know and I can send you the information. K-1 Students have accounts that they can continue working with as well. Please feel free to email me if you need other ideas. I hope to see you soon! Mrs. Wonders [email protected]
Does anyone know if they're delivering outside of the typical district? We are school of choice. I tried calling and no one was there. Not sure how to find out.
Is there gonna be a Spirit Week this year?❄🎄🎅💫

Good Morning, Madison Families!

The Madison School District was recently gifted six pallets of non-perishable foods. We understand how the holidays can be a difficult time a year. With three little ones at home myself, I know how quickly they can eat you out of house and home! Therefore, we would like to get these foods in the hands of our families before school resumes. Tomorrow (December 29, 2020) from the hours of 11:00 am-2:00 pm, we will have the doors of the Performing Arts Center (PAC) open to any Madison Families that would like to come and pick up any of the foods that were donated to us.

Go Trojans!

Madison School District, in cooperation with the Madison Gleaner Arbor, is establishing a school pantry to make sure no student goes hungry. Some of our students are food insecure, which means they do not consistently have access to enough food to be active and healthy. Children particularly lack access to meals at night or on the weekend, when their school-based support system goes away.
Counselors within the Madison School District will soon have access to a school pantry to assist students struggling with food insecurity. You can help make sure no student goes hungry by supporting the Madison School Pantry with donations of non-perishable food. Madison stakeholders may drop off food donations to any of the building offices. A list of items needed is included below.
If you know of a student who is food insecure please contact one of the school counselors.

PK-5 Learning Lab

Last week, the district sent out a communication regarding a change to our Friday schedule. During our planning process, we wanted to ensure that any change we made would be minimally impactful for our families. As a result, we created the Elementary Learning Lab.
