Blackhawk Families,

Thank you for sharing your children with us this school year. We have enjoyed getting back to our routines. I am so thankful for our incredibly talented and energetic staff who have prepared for the year and helped our students feel welcomed back to school!
Mrs. Bauer

Morning Arrival:
Please remember that students are not to be dropped off at school prior to 7:35 am.
Do not let students out of vehicles until staff starts the arrival process at 7:35 am.
The gravel parking lot IS NOT for student drop off.

Dismissal:
Thank you for your patience during dismissal on the first day of school! It always takes a bit longer with extra students returning home as car riders on the first day.
Remember that you have two tags for your vehicle. Tags must be in the windshield or an ID check will be requested with the office.
When parked in the car rider line, DO NOT BLOCK the High School Steps. The HS Entrance needs to remain clear at all times.

Playground:
The new elementary playground is almost complete! We can’t wait for opening day! Thank you to our community for funding this wonderful new playground for our students.

AMI Packets:
AMI Packets are coming home today. Please put these in a safe place. In the event of an unexpected school closure, Mr. Lile will let us know if it’s an AMI day. During an AMI Day, elementary teachers will be available by email or Seesaw.

This week:
9/1-4 Beginning of Year Literacy Assessments in K-5

Upcoming Events:
9/7 Labor Day
TBA Grandparents Day
9/17 Picture Day
