Creative Arts Academy
Why choose the Creative Arts Academy and Montessori? Graphing is a math concept and skill we experience at the Academy. Why graphing? Graphing gives students a real-life, relevant reason to use math concepts. Once we graph something, we count elements from the graph, as well as compare and contrast them. Hand and eye coordination are utilized, matching, counting, sorting, comparing, vocabulary, and more and less are learning skills that graphing offers! Please visit www.lenaweesheartandsoul.com under the Creative Arts Academy tab and view our video, discover our handbook, and enrollment information. Call Valorie at 517-902-5887 for more information, or to schedule a tour. We are currently offering a discounted enrollment fee until June 30, 2020. State guidelines for reopening will be utilized for our Academy program regarding the COVID situation.
Creative Arts Academy
Why choose the Creative Arts Academy and Montessori? We offer Creative Movement opportunities daily in the classroom! Why is Creative Movement important? Creative Movement increases blood and oxygen flow which positively affects cognitive development, mental well-being, and physical health. It also stimulates a child's imagination. It is a joyful way for children to explore movement through music, use body actions to communicate an image like a "leaf floating in the breeze", and to just be themselves!
The Creative Arts Academy is now offering a discounted enrollment fee until June 30, 2020 for the 2020-2021 school year. Please visit www.lenaweesheartandsoul.com under the Creative Arts Academy tab. You can view a video, and explore our handbook and enrollment form. Please call Valorie at 517-902-5887 for more information or a personal tour.
Creative Arts Academy
Why choose the Creative Arts Academy and Montessori? Did you know the importance of puzzles in the classroom? A child’s brain development is influenced significantly when a child acts on or manipulates the world around him or her. Puzzles provide that key opportunity. Children learn to work directly with their environment and change its shape and appearance when they work with puzzles. Puzzles offer hand and eye coordination, enhancement of fine motor skills, problem solving opportunities, shape recognition, language opportunities, and memory use. Puzzles are a daily activity in the Creative Arts Academy classroom! Visit our website at www.lenaweesheartandsoul.com under the Creative Arts Academy tab. View our video, learn about our program, and call Valorie at 517-902-5887 for more information or a private tour. A discounted enrollment fee is available until June 30, 2020 for the 2020/2021 school year!
