Due to the predicted extreme heat, entry to Bohn Pool will be FREE Wednesday, June 15, 2022 - Friday, June 17, 2022. Bohn Pool will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 1pm-6pm, and Friday from 1pm - 8pm. Waiver for minors must be signed in person by an adult. 9 & under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

Our 3 yr old AM Preschool class for next school year 2022-23 is now accepting applications!!! We only have 18 spots so spread the word!!! If someone does not have access to a computer to fill out the application online and needs a paper application, they can be picked up 8:30am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday at Adrian Community Preschool!

We are so excited to announce our new Executive Director and Lead Teacher, Angie Heath!

About Angie: “I was born and raised in Adrian. I have a BA from Purdue University in Elementary Education/Early Childhood Education. I taught preschool for 10 years in Chicago, IL before moving back to Adrian to raise my children. I have 5 adult children, one of which still lives with me as he is autistic. I have always been passionate about all children getting the chance to receive an early childhood education as my parents could not afford preschool for me and it was very apparent when I went to elementary school at Michener that those that had received a preschool education were already a step ahead. I firmly and passionately believe that everyone deserves that chance.”

Today, I publicly announce my departure from Adrian Community Preschool, the BEST preschool in Adrian, effective August 25th.
I have come to realize the positive impact on hundreds of children and families I have had in the past 17 years at ACP, but the time has come for me to make an impact in the field of Early Childhood Education in a different way.

I have been blessed by the best staff, dedicated volunteers, amazing board members, fun colleagues, and MANY friends because of my time at ACP. The most important thing to me is the extraordinary relationships with the children and families. I have always taken pride in considering us to be a “little family” at ACP, and I treasure each and every person I have encountered in my time here.

I want to take a moment to thank our incredible community for supporting our little school here on Addison Street for the past 54 years. WOW! What an accomplishment. I hope our amazing community collaborations will continue for the next 54 years!

To Rosemary and Cheri…I love you and know you will continue to do GREAT things at the preschool under new leadership. ACP is lucky to have you both! You are amazing and strong women that I am fortunate to call my friends. The children and families are blessed to have you in their lives.

Thank you all for the wonderful memories. I am so grateful for my years of service to Adrian Community Preschool. I definitely will not be a stranger and look forward to seeing many of you out and about in the community!
