We had another Un-“BEE”-lievable day here in preschool! We thoroughly enjoyed our special visit with the Queen Bee and Beekeeper from Windswept Farm learning bee characteristics, the importance of ”Think Before You Squish” (sign language), and pollination. Visits from community helpers like you bring our learning to life in a way that books cannot. We truly appreciate you visiting our MWF classes!

Thank you so much Thistle Glen Honey for “buzzing” by our preschool today to provide a real-life perspective to our month’s unit of Honeybees! We enjoyed seeing your beekeeping suit and equipment, learning how honey is made, and discovering how hard our little bee friends work! 🐝

Short Creek Joint Fire District paid us a very special visit!! Thank you Andrew Westoner and Ethan Toto for bringing both the fire truck and ambulance as well as the fire safety and turn-out gear demonstration. The children were able to gain comfort and reassurance to not to be scared of the mask and sounds. That means they are there to help! ❤️
