Math Strategies for Parents, tomorrow at 6!

We want to encourage our families to participate in these activities provided for our community.

Session 2 of our Back to School Math Strategies for Parents will be held this Thursday at 6:00! The strategies presented will be geared towards parents with children in grades 3rd-5th. Come out and get the tools you need to give yourself a jump start in helping your child with math principles this year. No cost. Open to all! 😀

Cook County School System is excited to announce our new communications tool, Bright Arrow. Email and text will continue as usual, but they may look slightly different. In our excitement to use this tool you may have received the pictured message last week. We've since learned that in order to read the text messages, you will be require to "opt-in." To be prepared, please text YES to 79041. This will ensure you receive the most up-to-date communications from Cook County Schools. New email messages may include "[email protected]" as the sender. Thank you for your continued support!

Called Board Meeting: The Cook County Board of Education will hold a called board meeting on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Cook County Board of Education, 37 Josey Road, Adel, GA 31620.

Get a jump-start on your child's reading skills this school year!!! Join us at YOUR Cook County Library as we partner with local educators, caregivers, and other stakeholders to learn the "how to" of teaching our community of kids to read! Mrs. Joanna Bryan, second grade teacher, will walk us through some of the strategies and techniques that our schools use to teach children to read. She will also have literacy material for parents to take home to began working with their child BEFORE the school year begins! HOW AWESOME IS THAT!
