Our students started the week off with a fun and engaging hands-on activity—making their very own homemade pizzas! They thoroughly enjoyed choosing their toppings, creating their pizzas, and watching their delicious creations come to life.

At Candy Cane’s Learning Center, we believe some of the best learning happens through hands-on experiences. Activities like pizza making help children develop fine motor skills, practice following directions, strengthen counting and measuring skills, encourage creativity, and promote social interaction with their peers.

Most importantly, activities like these help build confidence, independence, and a love for learning. Seeing the excitement on their faces as they created and enjoyed their pizzas made this activity even more special!

This Teacher Appreciation Week was truly one to remember. My staff and I would like to sincerely thank all of our amazing parents for the love, kindness, and thoughtful gifts you showered us with throughout the week. Your appreciation and support mean so much to us, and we are beyond grateful.

Due to everything we had going on this week, there were a few gifts that we did not get a chance to take pictures of, but please know that we appreciate each and every gesture, gift, and act of kindness that was shown to us. Nothing went unnoticed, and we are truly thankful for all of the love you poured into us this week.

Thank you for trusting us with your children and allowing us to be a part of their growth and learning journey. We appreciate you all more than words can express. ❤️

Today at Candy Cane Learning Center, we proudly celebrated Cinco de Mayo. It’s important to us that we create a diverse and inclusive learning environment where our students can explore and appreciate different cultures and traditions.

Our students had a wonderful time participating in activities that introduced them to Hispanic culture, and they were fully engaged throughout the day. We discussed a variety of foods from different cultures and talked about different types of clothing and traditions from around the world in ways that are meaningful and appropriate for young children.

We love providing experiences like this that help broaden their understanding while making learning fun, engaging, and inclusive.

Im so proud to announce that the Candy Canes Learning Center Scholarship, in the amount of $500, was awarded to three of our former students who began their journey with us at an early age. Watching you all grow and succeed has truly been a blessing. 💛
