Tuscarora Field Day was checked off the list for the 2026 school year! Field Day had a couple hiccups with weather during the day, but thanks to the teamwork, flexibility and positive attitudes of our staff, students and volunteers, we were able to successfully complete both the K-2 and 3-5 Field Day sessions with lots of fun activities and stations.

A special thank you to our PTA for providing the inflatables and freeze pops helping make the day extra memorable for our students.

Smiles, laughter and excitement made it a wonderful day for everyone. Thank you to everyone who helped make Tuscarora Field Day a success!

The kindergarten classes recently enjoyed a special trip to the Woodhull Playground, combining outdoor fun with opportunities for physical activity and social interaction.

Students spent time exploring the playground equipment, climbing, swinging, sliding, and making new memories with classmates. The visit provided a chance for students to strengthen both their gross motor skills and communication skills while enjoying the beautiful weather.

The playground, which serves as a gathering place for families and community members, was filled with laughter and excitement as the students put their energy to good use. Teachers noted that outdoor play helps children develop confidence, cooperation, and problem-solving skills while encouraging healthy, active lifestyles.

The kindergarten classes would like to thank everyone who has supported the development and maintenance of the community playground. Their efforts helped to provide a safe and welcoming place for the students to learn and play.

EVENT UPDATE: The Middle School Dance scheduled for tonight has been canceled.

Valley Early Childhood School students recently attended a magic show at the MS/HS. There was even a bunny! The magic words were "go Addison". They also took a field trip to the Woodhull Community Playground. They enjoyed time outside and a treat.
