Great teachers help students see what’s possible.

This World Teachers’ Day, we celebrate the educators who invest in their students with purpose, build relationships that matter and prepare the next generation of world-shapers. Their influence reaches far beyond a classroom. It lives on in the lives students lead, the communities they serve and the difference they make.

To the teachers who encourage curiosity, recognize potential and show up for students each day: thank you. 💜 Who is a teacher who made a difference in your life?

Liz Zamudio’s journey to her degree started with a deeply personal purpose: her son.

When he experienced challenges with speech, Liz wanted to understand more and learn how she could help others facing similar experiences. That purpose led her to pursue her degree online at ACU.

Then came an unexpected challenge. While earning her degree, Liz was diagnosed with cancer.

Through treatment and coursework, her ACU community stayed close, offering the encouragement and support she needed to keep moving toward her goal. Today, Liz is a graduate and cancer free. 💜 Her story shows what’s possible when a clear purpose is strengthened by people who believe in you.
