Hey Friends- Class of 82 - Addison. Our friend and classmate Doug needs your thoughts, prayers, good vibes and love. ❤️ 🖤 If you want to message Carly Ries for her address to send a card for his upcoming birthday or drop one off at his daughter Cammies shop at the beach, I know he would love to hear from you all. Read the note below from his daughter Carly about what our buddy has been going thru recently bringing in his 62nd year at the U of M bed and breakfast. If you know Doug this is the last place he wants to be.

Hi everyone!
My family wants to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the prayers, love, and support regarding our dad, Doug! He is doing really good!

As many of you know and those who don’t, a week ago, Doug experienced an aortic dissection- fancy terms for a tear in the aortic wall. He took two survival flights and ended up at the U of M on 11/4 for open heart surgery. In the hands of God and amazing surgeons - dad had a very successful surgery. For the past week dad has been in ICU and will hopefully soon be moved to step down. He has made amazing passes through the past week but also struggles as anyone may have after a huge surgery like he has. Mind you, this is the first time our dad has ever been a patient at a hospital.

My family and I have a request for all of you that love our dad Doug, as much as we do. We would love to lift dads spirts with get well wishes and also birthday wishes with cards. His birthday is 11/16.

If you would like to send dad a card, please message me and I’ll give you my address. You can also drop off cards at Cammies shop, 251 devil lake hwy manitou beach. We will get all the cards to him.
If cards are not your thing, A’ok- I am going to share all comments/messages/text - anything with him. We appreciate anything to help celebrate our dad. He is one special guy to so many of us, but specially his family. We love him and we thank god everyday he is here with us. Thank you everyone again for all the prayers and love!❤️

Well, here it is the swing. I have been patiently waiting for the swing to arrive and I am so excited to share it with all of you. It was well worth the wait, Bill and Will Stuard go well beyond meeting my expectations all the time, they're the best! It's adorable! #littleflockfarm
