Showing up has its perks! Students with perfect attendance had the opportunity to enjoy the defeat Columbus Clinghorns Wednesday. They also got to spend a little time in the sunshine at Railroad Park as well.

The gardening center experts at #1158 stopped by Mrs. Grey's science class to teach about plants and how to grow them. Nurturing growth at at different ob many levels.

When will you use math? ✖️➕ Mrs. Clark's 6th graders will tell you that in the real world, you've got to eat. They completed their own "orders" and practiced word-problems based on restaurant menus. Let's hope their lunch wasn't spoiled since we all know hungry math students like square meals. 😁🫢

Mrs. Lee's PLTW Medical Detectives, collaborated with nurse and learn a very important skill today.....Vital Signs! Students learned to take blood pressure, beats per minute and temperature. Nurse Cox also gave a lesson on how to properly put on and remove gloves that maybe covered in bodily fluids such as blood.
