An update to my super sad goodbye post… well not goodbye, but I’ll see you later..

A few months later I find myself still passionate about play, creativity, self-knowing, and community. I am living out those passions through my new venture at Evoke Art Studio, an art hub for adults focusing on creative wellness and artistic exploration. This work emphasizes the importance for play for humans into adulthood. Through Evoke I will support adults as they discover their inner voice, find joy in community, and express themselves creatively. I’ll be hosting workshop, classes, retreats, groups, and trainings. • A work book for reflective work and action research prompts

• A monthly live Zoom meeting for follow up discussion, reflective dialogue, and a Q&A ( Last Thursday of every month)

The course will be full of dynamic photography, video, and authentic storytelling.

“Play-based learning (PBL) has become an acclaimed pedagogical approach in early childhood education worldwide. Considerable theoretical and empirical research employing diverse methodologies has explored PBL from various perspectives over the last three decades. However, only a few scoping and systematic reviews have analysed the literature on PBL for pre-primary school-aged children. This scoping review addresses key research questions regarding the scope, outcomes, implementation factors, and gaps in the PBL literature, drawing on peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 and 2023. The review synthesises the findings from qualitative, quantitative, and mixed studies to explore the multifaceted relationship between PBL and the holistic development of 4-to 6-year-old pre-primary school learners.”
