Mrs. Keller's Art Room

I could not be prouder of our beautiful murals created with artist-in-residence, Jeanne Styczinski! Two weeks of painting and texturing papers which were then collaged into fruits, vegetables and flowers. EVERY student present has something in one of these gardens! Our new gardens are complete and will hopefully be up to beautify our cafeteria and office sometime next week!!

I didn’t get to see Lily at the state art show, but here she is with her beautiful owl that traveled to Madison for the month of March. Great job Lily!!

Art student of the month for March is….. Ruby!! Ruby was a star student with the youth Art month dress up days- she even did it the last 2 days of the month when we were on spring break!!
Congratulations Ruby!!

The dedication from this girl… spring break and Ruby STILL follows the dress up calendar!! Happy birthday VanGogh-wear sunflowers to celebrate!!

Today was an amazing day celebrating student artists in Madison at the Youth Art Month closing ceremony. Thank you Logan and Kevilyn and their families for making the trip down. I hope you had a great time!!
I also met Ike Wynter, one of our March madness artists!! He. Is. TALL.

Thursday’s dress up day for Youth Art Month was wear cool colors. As has become the norm, Ruby came by, dropped her coat and backpack to show me her outfit, and basically was like “I’m ready for my picture!!” 😂😂😂
