Freeman Lego Club

We hadn’t had “free build” time in a while… so for Lego club this month I let them build whatever they wanted! It was fun to see what they came up with! Creative lil minds! 👏👏

After lots of talk of the groundhog coming out of his home to declare more winter we decided this months Lego club would be all about animal habitats!

“Make an animal home and the animal that goes in it” 🐈‍⬛🐕🐇🦊🐮🦄

This months Lego club theme was Ziplines!! Everyone had to make a build that had some sort of hole that we could run a string through to send it down our zipline! Sorry, I didn’t get very many pictures of their builds as it’s hard to send things down the zipline while taking photos! 😝 This theme is always a fan favorite! See yall next month!

Sorry for the delay in post… Mrs. Sales house has been infiltrated by germs 🤧😷and I’m trying to get things back together! Haha!! (Thank you Mrs. Weyer for subbing for me for Tueaday’s Lego Club!)

November’s building prompt was to make some sort of food out of legos in preparation for all the delicious feasts everyone will likely be taking part of on Thanksgiving! It was fun to see everyone’s creations! Even those who clearly chose to build not food related things 🤣🤣🤷🏻‍♀️ See you in December!

We were feeling a lil spooky in Lego Club this month in preparation for Halloween!! Their theme this month was to create a monster and/or a haunted house for the monsters to live in! Such cool creations! See you all next month! 🎃👻

It was a great 1st lego club meeting for our PreK-2nd graders! Today they got to design their own mini figures which I’ll be hanging up eventually and then they got to do free Lego build! The themed builds will begin in October!

1st Lego club meeting will be for PreK-2nd Grade on MONDAY, Sept 9th.

3rd-6th Grade will meet on TUESDAY, Sept. 10th

Lego Club - 2024-2025 Please fill out a form for each child participating! Lego club will meet in the library for 1 Hour (3:30pm-4:30pm) on certain days for certain grades. They will be given a building prompt and then have time to build and show off their work with their friends! Legos provided! :) Follow us on facebook...

An email will be going out soon with a Google Form to sign your child up! (If you have more than one student please fill one form out per kid!) Prek-2nd Graders will be meeting on MONDAYS and 3rd-6th Graders will meet on TUESDAYS! Exact dates below on the schedule!

Small but mighty group of 3rd-6th graders today! We had a great last Lego club! They enjoyed free building time, yummy treats from Suzy’s Sweets and watching the Lego Movie! We’ve had a great year! Hopefully I’ll see yall again next school year! Have a fun and safe summer!

What a great last Lego club for our Prek-2nd graders! Big shout out to Suzy’s Sweets for the adorable Lego Treats for today! Everyone got to enjoy free build time, design their own Lego mini figures, enjoy Suzy’s Treats and even got to watch a small portion of the Lego Movie! I’ve loved having everyone this year! Hopefully I’ll see yall next school year as well! Have a fun and safe summer!!
