Please join us in welcoming our new AHS Assistant Principal, Mrs. Brittany McCord, who was announced at our most recent board meeting. With 21 years of experience in education, Mrs. McCord has called Adairsville home for the last 19 years, where she has taught ELA and served as both an ILT and Literacy Coach at AMS. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Berry College, and an Ed.S. in Teacher Leadership from Valdosta State University. She is very excited to continue serving the Adairsville community, and we are excited to have her in this new role!
Welcome aboard, and Go Tigers!

⭐ Baggett Elementary School (Gwinnett County)
⭐ Springdale Park Elementary School (Atlanta Public Schools)
⭐ West Jackson Elementary School (Jackson County)
⭐ Wynnton Arts Academy (Muscogee County)

What an achievement!

TOP IN GEORGIA: State School Superintendent Richard Woods says Adairsville High School is one of five schools in Georgia serving as a MODEL for arts integrated instruction!

Adairsville High has been named a Creative School Arts Integration School of Excellence by the Georgia Department of Education, recognizing schools where the arts are built into learning across subjects.

From theatre and music to media production and STEM, students are learning by creating, collaborating, and applying their skills in real world ways.

AHS is also on track to become one of the first high schools to earn whole school STEAM certification in the coming year.

The results are real and growing.

As we get ready for the new school year, we would like to take a moment to remind everyone of our school's dress code expectations. Maintaining a consistent dress standard helps create a positive learning environment and ensures all students can focus on their education.

We appreciate your continued support in helping students come to school prepared and dressed for success!
