A sampling of some of my junior high students projects.

Haven’t posted in a while. Here is a collection of high school student projects from this year.

Sam has worked hard on this beautiful black walnut gun cabinet over the last two years. He graduated last weekend and came in this week to finish up some final details. Needs glass yet, but otherwise done! Very proud of him and his efforts to make this a lifetime piece of furniture.

God is soooo good! I got a call from Craig and Jason from Bourbon Moth Woodworking asking if I could use a few things for the SC wood shop. Seems they were cleaning up their shop. A few tools, maybe some lumber. Of course I said yes! My program survives and thrives on donations of materials, tools, dollars,etc.
Well, today they showed up with a trailer and pickup truck full of donations. Doubled my plywood supply, many pieces of lumber, and boxes of tools and supplies. So many students will be blessed by their generosity! Thanks guys!

Here they are, your 2024-25 Santiam Christian staff and faculty family.

Today was our all staff and faculty meeting to start the year. Mr. Stefan, our superintendent, shared his thoughts for the year, including the five principles that we will use as our measuring stick in behavior and expectations.

Responsible. Respectful. Honest. Safe. Kind.

As we gathered today, we started the year with corporate worship. 112 voices, raised to the Lord, united in the mission and ministry that is Santiam Christian. What a privilege to worship with our friends and co-workers.
