The Ada High School Foundation would like to recognize Jacque Sperling and her family for their continued support.
The Robert T. Sperling Scholarship was established in 1996 after he lost his battle with cancer. Bob was a math teacher here at Ada starting in 1975. He was a graduate of The Ohio State University. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. “RT” cared. He wanted to teach his students and wanted them to be better.
This year’s $500 scholarship recipient, who will pursue a career in a field related to math, will be announced Monday, May 18 at the Senior Awards dinner.
If anyone in the community would like to endow a scholarship to support our local students please contact one of our board members.
