Residential and Commercial trash collection in Pontotoc and surrounding counties since 1992. B & S Sanitation was established in November 1992 by H.R.
and Patsy Barnes. The business began with a contract to service the Town of Roff, gradually individual customers around the area were added and the business grew. Working side by side with his dad from the beginning, their youngest son, Richard became a partner in the business in 1998. In June of 2005, H.R. suffered a massive heart attack and passed away. While his family mourned the loss of their
mentor and hero, the business had to go on. Richard and his mother continued the partnership and thanks to our loyal customers and word-of-mouth referrals, B & S continued to grow. The business went through another change in 2011 when Patsy decided it was time to retire. Richard bought out her part of the business and now he and his wife, LeAnn, continue to operate it with the same commitment to customer service and satisfaction that H.R. and Patsy set as the standard more than 30 years ago. What started with Patsy doing statements on an electric typewriter at the family dining room table and H.R. running small routes with a single truck has grown to a fleet of 8 trucks and 19 full-time employees. We have outgrown our original location just outside of Roff and were blessed in 2016 to find a permanent home in the Pickett Community (next to the Pickett Country Store). We are proud to call this area home, and will continue to support local businesses, schools and other civic organizations throughout the towns and communities in Pontotoc County. B & S continues to be a local, family-owned and operated business. The Barnes' oldest son, Johnny and grandson, Cameron along with a crew of outstanding employees from within your community work diligently to provide the best service possible to our customers. We understand that you have other choices for your garbage collection needs and we may not be the cheapest, however it is our sincere desire to balance fair prices with our goal of being here to take care of you far into the future. We sincerely appreciate the support of our customers and realize none of this would be possible without each and every one of you. We will continue to work hard every day to live up to our motto:
