Look who made it to Florida!!!✈️ These smart cookies are going to compete in the National History and Science Bees …. AND…the team competition!! Our very own Hannah Wolfe got to represent Oklahoma in the parade of flags for the opening ceremony at the International Academic Competitions! I’m certain these kids are going to represent Oklahoma and Byng Public Schools well in the next few days!! ♥️🏴‍☠️💛

I wanted to share this because there are some extra yearbooks that the students can purchase. It’s so fun watching them trade yearbooks to be signed with friends and teachers.

I've included a link and a QR code if you have not received your yearbook order form. If you do not have access to a printer, have your child ask their teacher for another form if you would like to order one for them. There is also an image below that gives some information about the yearbook. Also, RALPH may have a picture in the yearbook......Could it be a Where's Waldo type of thing, or just an awesome picture of that sweet little face....buy one and find out. If you don't know Ralph, just ask a child from Byng Elementary.

I just wanted to repost this because it’s going to be a busy few days. ♥️🏴‍☠️💛

It's a busy last few days, so I've added quite a bit of information tonight.

Tomorrow is FIELD DAY!!!!!!!!!! The field day rotations will begin promptly at 9:00 and students will rotate through stations with their grade levels.

The day will begin with this first rotation. 4th Grade - Track * 5th Grade - Hallways * 6th Grade - Playground/Elem. Gym. -

The kids will be rotating through stations all day, so have them wear tennis shoes and comfy clothes that can get dirty. (Just in case....). The coaches have worked hard to make this a fun day for everyone. It's going to be GREAT!!

May 6th, 7th, and 8th, your child can help show their support to the Trotters by purchasing something from the HS basketball gym concession stand. The prices vary from just 25 cents to $2.00. I've included an image that shows some of the items they may purchase. Mrs. McNutt says that there will be much more. Oklahoma Trotters

PLTW recognizes schools across the United States for their efforts to provide broad access to transformative learning experiences for students through PLTW Launch programs, an elementary STEM curriculum. Our school has shown a great commitment to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement in their PLTW programs!

Byng Elementary PTO wants to show our appreciation for the 62 faculty and staff at our school by providing lunch to them one day during Teacher Appreciation Week, which is May 6-9.

Our goal is to raise $10 per faculty/staff. Donations are due by May 2nd to the office - cash or check. We will be picking them up daily. Thanks so much for your support of our awesome faculty and staff!
