Theta Alpha Phi at ONU

Theta Alpha Phi at ONU National Theatre Honorary It is the oldest educational theatre honor society in the world, having been founded in 1919.

Theta Alphi Phi is a national honor society that recognizes undergraduate and graduate students at four-year-or-more colleges or universities for their excellence and achievement in the theatre arts. Once students have achieved sophomore status, those who have participated in theatre activities at Ohio Northern are invited to apply for membership in Theta Alpha Phi. Acceptance is based on a point system, which includes participation in productions and courses in theatre. All students who apply and meet the nationally required point value are able to join the honor society.
