Need to renew your Private Pesticide Applicator license? Today (1/20/26) at the Ada Event Center at 1pm is where you can get that done. The workshop is 3 1/2 hours of educational information to renew your applicator license. Bring your check, ID, and applicator license. University of Minnesota Extension will be holding the 53 annual Cow/Calf Days workshop in Fosston on Tuesday, January 27th starting at 5:30 pm at Ventures Bar & Grill.

This event continues to be the leading information, technology, and research outlet for cow/calf producers in the state of Minnesota. This year’s event will feature information on:
• Resurgence of Long-Lost Problems
• Mineral Nutrition for Cows and Calves
• Critical Cow Nutrition
• Beef Research Updates

A tradeshow will run alongside the program, showcasing vendors with new technologies, financial tools, and practical products for today’s operations.

The workshop is open to the cow/calf producers, agriculture industries professionals. The $10 registration fee, payable by cash or check, includes a meal, proceedings book, and program materials. The program is approximately three hours.
