Ada Vista would like to give a huge shout out to our amazing PTO for another incredible Caminata last week!
We would also like to pass along a huge thank you to all of our students, staff, families, and community from the Ada Vista PTO!!!
Caminata was a smashing and colorful success! Despite the finicky weather, our students were decked out in their colors and enjoyed the walk with big smiles on their faces.
Thanks to the generosity and support that came from families, friends, and local businesses, we are thrilled to report that our PTO surpassed the goal of $35,000 and raised a TOTAL of $36,174.93!!!
Thank you to everyone who cares for our school and values our children’s education. Due to our generous donors, tireless parent volunteers, and the energy and enthusiasm of our students and staff, Caminata allowed the entire Ada Vista PTO general budget for the 2018-19 school year to be fully funded!
Way to go Ada Vista!

Many thanks to Sra. Edison, AV 4th grade teacher, for organizing this event as part of our Autores Jovenes (Young Authors) program. This experience is a great way for our students to be exposed to, and practice, the target language outside of the classroom routine.
