The foundry in the art program has served sculpture students here at East Central University for a long time, and ECU is one of only three university art programs in the state with an active metal casting program. Weโve cast hundreds, or even thousands, of bronze and aluminum sculptures and it has finally worn out. If you know us, we have tried everything to fix it and it is just time for a new one. Itโs been here so long itโs about my age and Iโm not going to say who it is, me or the foundry, but the foundry has given a lifetime of service in the art program at East Central University. Many of you know this is my last year at ECU and I will be retiring at the end of July. You can help me have a second โlifetimeโ of service to ECU by donating to this fund. Together we can keep this vital part of our program running and honor my career. Thanks so much for your memories and your help with this!
