Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!
Traditions…
Are they a big part of your holidays?
Every year these young ones get a new Christmas themed pillowcase.
This is the time every year that I hate…
Our books are closed to Christmas orders!
You are welcome to drop off items and we will schedule them for after the first of the year.
Thank you!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and is ready to jump into the Christmas Season!
I have been at the shop since 3:15 am working to get orders out. These are the last two items for today as I am exhausted!🥱
My plans for the rest of the evening includes cuddles from Everly and dinner of some sort.
See you back here tomorrow when I’ll share some of what I got done today!
Got up this morning with really good intentions:
👀 Looked at my To Do list and 🫨
My solution: Set a one hour timer, dump out a box of small scraps and sew mindlessly. I didn’t make much of a dent in my scraps but I did get the start to some cool scrappy blocks!
Now I need to get to work. Have a wonderful day!😊
Wishing everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
We will reopen for business on Tuesday, December 3 at 10am.
Finished the 72 blocks I need to make two of these Memory quilts! This is the center of the first one laid out and ready to sew together.
The log cabin blocks are an intertwining of grandma’s and grandpa’s clothing. What precious memories are being preserved!
It is almost 3pm and I am just now remembering to eat lunch…
It been a busy morning! Chambray has been fussing at me for the last hour or so, she thinks she is starving🤣😢🤣
Getting there…
What do you think?
The last 4 rows are complete, just need to figure out rows 2 and 3. I have toyed with several ideas 💡 but haven’t landed on one yet. Suggestions welcome.
Finally got something done for the day!
The next 6 blocks for the current Memory quilt are framed and trimmed!
Spent the day cleaning off my ironing board, my cutting table, my sewing desk and my hallway design wall! In between all that I answered the phone, text messages, Facebook messages and comments. I waited on customers, downloaded and printed two patterns, sent off a design for digitizing and paid a couple of bills.
It is not quite 4 and I feel like I didn’t accomplish a thing.
I’m going to see now 😃😉😃
Ta-da! 👀 I'm thrilled to show off my new green cutting mat!
Some of you will get the excitement, while others will be left wondering why I'm so stoked about a piece of hard plastic. This baby is brand new, super smooth, and has clear lines. My old mat was a disaster - all worn down and grooved, killing my rotary blades. It's time to give it a proper sendoff. The new mat will be my trusty sidekick, helping me create awesome things every day. Can't wait to get started! 🎊 🎉
What is something you would like to have that others may not understand?
These took longer than I anticipated but they were so worth the extra time.
Personalized pajamas for the win!
Holiday stockings are a cherished part of our traditions.
Make them more memorable by having them personalized. There is still time!
