Tacuna Systems is a small engineering company specializing in tools for sensing, data acquisition, and controls. They are excited to announce a new “Women in Engineering Empowerment Scholarship.” Women are still very much under-represented in STEM fields both in higher education and in industry. Their goal is to help equip one female student to overcome this gender gap by offering $1,000 toward her studies in science, technology, engineering, or math. This past Thursday, six ONU students went to "Energize Your Future" at Marathon in Findlay. Each student participated in three job shadows of engineers in different roles that exist within Marathon. They were also given a tour and were able to ask questions about Marathon, co-oping at Marathon, or anything else they could think of during there trip. Thank you Marathon for this opportunity!

Once upon a time...it was the coldest and windiest day in April (right before we received our spring snow!) So, what did we do? SWE hosted our outside games and pizza night in the tent on the tundra! 😆 We had quite a few visitors but not many stayed around long! 🤷‍♀️
