CALL FOR PAPERS: Conference “Custom and international investment law”
The Conference on Custom and International Investment Law will be held at the American University Washington College of Law, 23-24 September 2020.
The Organizing Committee of the Conference “Custom and International Investment Law” is pleased to invite to the Conference, which will hold six thematic panels, an expert roundtable and feature several keynote speakers (with invited experts and speakers, inter alia a former judge of International Court of Justice and arbitrators). Scholars and practitioners interested in presenting during the Conference are encouraged to send their proposals.
The Conference is jointly organise by: Universidad Externado de Colombia; TRICI-Law (University of Groningen); Universität Tübingen; American University Washington College of Law.

The IMO International Maritime Law Institute (IMLI) wishes to bring to your attention its Law of Ports Course, commencing on the 2 January 2020 to 31 March 2020.
The Law of Ports Course will address many aspects of ports operations, as well as numerous areas covered by IMO conventions and prescriptions which are of vital importance to the law of ports, including environmental protection, security, safety and facilitation.
This course would be of immense benefit to any professional involved in the maritime industry, such as lawyers, maritime practitioners, port officers, and ship operators. The course would also prove beneficial to law students who wish to pursue a career in the field.
At the end of the course, a certificate of participation will be issued.
