West Michigan Youth Ballet West Michigan Youth Ballet

Youth Ballet design to provide young people with the opportunity to prepare and present to the public, full-length ballet's under the direction of professional choreographers. To enhance the skills that these young people have received through the study of ballet at their respective academies by learning all that is involved in the preparation of a ballet performance. There is a difference between performing a dance from The Nutcracker and producing a full-scale classical ballet. A full theatrical production requires more than choreography.
It requires scenery. Lighting. Costumes. Props. Rehearsal. Technical preparation. And dancers who understand that every role, from party girl to the sugarplum fairy, is part of something larger.

For young dancers, experiencing a complete classical ballet production changes everything.

Because what surrounds a dancer onstage matters.
Because the world we build around them shapes the artists they become.
Because the hard work in the studio deserves the magic of the stage.
Because true production value elevates the dancer.
Because the complete theatrical journey changes everything.

Behind every great performance is a community that believes in its youth. Partner with us as a sponsor and help us give West Michigan youth the grand stage they deserve.
