“In February, I had the incredible opportunity to represent Ohio Northern University at the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) Regional Conference as Chapter President,” shares pharmacy student Faez Alsuhail.

“I was honored to win the poster presentation competition after presenting my research on the role of Regulator of G Protein Signaling 2 (RGS2) and Regulator of G Protein Signaling 4 (RGS4) in methamphetamine’s rewarding effects.

As a chapter, we actively engaged in the House of Delegates session, where our resolution was voted on and passed. I also explored the process of running for a position on the SNPhA Board.

Additionally, I had the opportunity to network with students from across the country, learning about different pharmacy programs while sharing Ohio Northern University’s impactful initiatives.

This conference reinforced my passion for pharmacy, leadership, and advocacy, and I am excited for what’s ahead!”

We proudly congratulate Faez on his outstanding achievement in winning the poster competition!
