Founded in 1884, the Ohio Northern University's Raabe College of Pharmacy has had the privilege to graduate over 8,500 pharmacists during its 130+ year history. The College of Pharmacy is distinctive among other colleges of pharmacy as it provides students with a comprehensive foundation in the pharmaceutical sciences and the practice of pharmacy along with a strong liberal arts curriculum that is packaged into a direct-entry 0-6 PharmD program.

We are proud to celebrate the success of Jackie Fisher, PharmD '25 who graduated from Ohio Northern University with a Doctor of Pharmacy and a minor in Dance!

Jackie was recently featured in City Pulse Columbus, where she shares how her experiences at ONU helped shape her journey as both a pharmacist and a dancer. Now practicing pharmacy in Columbus, she continues to pursue her passion for dance and choreography, demonstrating the value of combining diverse interests and talents.

Jackie’s journey highlights one of the many things that makes Ohio Northern University special. Our students are encouraged to pursue both their academic goals and their personal passions, creating a well-rounded educational experience that prepares them for success in all aspects of life. Whether through research, leadership opportunities, the arts, athletics, or community involvement, we provide our student with the support and flexibility to explore their interests while excelling in academic programs. Recently, pharmacy students Sean Donovan, Braden Harman and Brandon Adams, along with their faculty advisor Dr. Tarek Mahfouz, attended the 2026 American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) conference. Sean and Braden presented their research poster, Statistical Modeling of Drug Half-Lives.

ASPET focuses on advancing drug discovery, developing therapeutics, and tackling global diseases.

ONU HealthWise Pharmacy is excited to welcome Kami McDonald, PharmD '26 and Abrianna McManis, PharmD, as our newest ONU HealthWise Pharmacy residents!

Originally from the small town of Dillonvale, Ohio, Kami has always valued close community connections and building relationships with others. After coming to ONU for school six years ago and working throughout the surrounding communities, she realized this was exactly where she wanted to be. "My HealthWise APPE experience solidified my passion for staying in rural healthcare and becoming the kind of pharmacist who is always there to help patients through both care and meaningful one-on-one relationships,", Kami shares.

Abrianna shares, “I am extremely grateful for this opportunity. ONU was one of my top choices for pharmacy school, so I am excited to finally be involved with the university over the next year! From the beginning, the atmosphere has been incredibly inviting. I am most excited about strengthening my ambulatory care skills and experiencing the mobile clinic!”
